DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE START

Coming into downtown from the west, on I-10 Eastbound:

Left exit to I-45 Southbound; move to the left lane.

Left exit to McKinney St.

East on McKinney about 7 blocks; turn

Right on Fannin, and go about 6 blocks to Leeland.

Coming into downtown from the north, on I-45 Southbound:

When you near downtown, get into the left land and

Left exit to McKinney St.

East on McKinney about 7 blocks; turn

Right on Fannin, and go about 6 blocks to Leeland.

Coming into downtown from the north, on Hardy Toll Road Southbound:

At end of toll road, take 610 West to I-45 Southbound;

When you near downtown, get into the left land and

Left exit to McKinney St.

East on McKinney about 7 blocks; turn

Right on Fannin, and go about 6 blocks to Leeland.

Coming into downtown from the north, on US 59 Southbound:

Sorry about this one, folks.  I havent been up there lately; there has been a lot of construction on 59 and I dont know what exits are open or even exist.  I would only know to tell you to take I-10 west to I-45 Southbound and follow the directions above.

Coming into downtown from the east, on I-10 Westbound:

As you come into downtown, get into the left lane and take the

Left exit to I-45 Southbound.  Then very quickly get into the left lane and

Left exit to McKinney St.

East on McKinney about 7 blocks; turn

Right on Fannin, and go about 6 blocks to Leeland.

Coming into downtown from the east on TX 225 (La Porte Freeway):

At the end of the freeway, take 610 to the south.  After a couple of miles,

Right exit to I-45 Northbound.  After a few miles,

Right exit on the big, multi-lane Scott Street-Downtown, but dont exit from that to Scott Street.

Proceed along the main exit lanes to the Pease Street exit.  Once youre down on Pease Street, go about 10 blocks to Fannin.  In front of you, at the corner of Pease and Fannin, is a two-story brick building.  Cross Fannin and turn right into the parking lot behind that building.  Go around the building and youre there.

Coming into downtown from the east on I-45 Northbound:

A few miles after you pass 610,

Right exit on the big, multi-lane Scott Street-Downtown, but dont exit from that to Scott Street.

Proceed along the main exit lanes to the Pease Street exit.  Once youre down on Pease Street, go about 10 blocks to Fannin.  In front of you, at the corner of Pease and Fannin, is a two-story brick building.  Cross Fannin and turn right into the parking lot behind that building.  Go around the building and youre there.

Coming into downtown from the south on TX 288:

Where 288 intersects with TX 59, get on 59 Northbound (Cleveland).  Quickly move to the right and

Right exit at Pierce-Gray.  This will put you on Chartres, parallel to 59.  Go about 5 blocks and

Turn left on Pease.

Go about 5 blocks to Fannin.  In front of you, at the corner of Pease and Fannin, is a two-story brick building.  Cross Fannin and turn right into the parking lot behind that building.  Go around the building and youre there.

Coming from the southwest on TX 59 Northbound:

After the exits for 288, move to the right and

Right exit at Pierce-Gray.  This will put you on Chartres, parallel to 59.  Go about 5 blocks and

Turn left on Pease.

Go about 5 blocks to Fannin.  In front of you, at the corner of Pease and Fannin, is a two-story brick building.  Cross Fannin and turn right into the parking lot behind that building.  Go around the building and youre there.
